They didn't really close the gate but park closes at dusk. I've only seen the gate closed one winter when ice all over the trees made the danger of falling limbs
Pua takes advantage of a hole in the hammock back. I blame Mandua, ha. He must have done it while here. Pua doesn't tear holes in her hammocks like the boys do.

I put this up to try and make Mandua feel safer going from shelf to shelf.
Pua found it annoying and grabbed the shelf around it to pull up then started using the hammock for just one claw hold as she'd go up.
Last night she was dozing on the shelf and it dawned on her that this is a hammock, though a small one.

Pua got up as I was cleaning up her food so I put it back out. Then she just sat there so I decided to give her her bath. After she sat on the washer pouting so I put a blanket on her. Finally she decided she'd made her point and went to bed.

So Pua seems to be in heat for sure now. She is very hyper and showed interest in herself last night. However instead of being more receptive to Eldorado she took to yelling at him from across the room for breathing to loud. Anteater PMS?
