Living with Anteaters

So the other night I opened the fridge and found a line of avocados. I pulled one out and dug in right there on the fridge top but mom moved me and the 'cado to my dinning room.

March 8th

March 9th

I opened the fridge and took out all the avocados. They kept slipping from my claws and falling but I managed to keep one on the fridge top and ate it all. The others got lots of claw marks in them though. I was full of avocado so didn't touch my food. Glad I don't have clean up my own poops. I think I may have sealed mom putting a latch back on the fridge though.

So with the old washer I use to pull the drain hose out of the wall and mom wouldn't notice till the room started flooding. They strapped it in and wedged a tent peg in there to keep me from doing it any more. Guess what I did last night? Gotta make sure you give your pet humans plenty of enrichment activities, like moping the floor.

Sleeping Ori

March 5th

Ori is sleeping in the closet today. She and aurora were jostling for position in the house quite a bit yesterday too. Well, I'm not making a bigger one. Ya coulda used that plastic house it was nice and roomy.

March 6th

So mom and grampa built the closet monsters a bigger house even though she said she wouldn't. The pee pad house was kinda mangled after the last washing and they slept in the closet instead. She kinda said the wrong size so it's 3" longer now. It's a wood and pvc frame with a comforter wrapped around. She can maybe make a lining that straps in if they insist but hoping this works then she can just wash and change the comforters as needed.

Most tamandua only lift their tails when running around excited. Ori keeps hers up just walking around or even stopped sniffing things out of pride.

I think all three of them peed in it, the blanket was soaked this morning. However Ori did manage to collapse it a few hours later and A and O are sleeping in the closet. We have added more supports and it should hold up now.

March 8th

Ori seems to love the new house but Aurora didn't and Ori wants to stay with her mom so they slept in the closet. I gutted and disassembled the pee pad house and used it for a lining. Maybe Aurora will like the familiar inside. If Ori doesn't destroy it. I just tied it on the frame for now.

Ori got up went in the hut and ripped down the lining then left. Darn Ori. I just wrapped it around the outside for now at least it will be a bit more homey.

March 9th

ORi and Aurora are in the hut playing! I thought Ori was just freaking out till I saw Aurora was in there too.

I found the others in the hut. All three playing inside, yay! ~ Pua

So they slept in the closet even though the house was good to play in. The pad was soaked. Hmm stop using it as an outhouse and maybe it would be comfy to sleep.
