Birthday buffet
Birthday buffet
Ketchup, avocado, beef cake with blue cheese sauce, ant sprinkles and a spray cheese candle, mango and juice. She just likes to have her shot of ketchup when she first wakes up but she enjoyed the rest later.

We end with some Sad news. Kat had another large tumor up by her kidneys. We did what we could for her but after a couple months fighting she left us on July 4th. I think her tumor ruptured. She died in my arms on the way to the emergency vet to let her go.

My dad made her a little pine box

And we buried her under the picnic table where she liked to sit.

Kat was 16.5. We got her from a rescue at about 1yr old. I went with only one requirement in mind. It not be a black long haired cat. My last cat before her was. Black cat sure, long hair sure just not both. So the first cat they show me is Kat(she had another name at the time). "Go haead and hold her she wont bite" "No thanks" "A lot of people are scared of her due to her size but she's sweet, hold her" Kat shoved into my arms and comes home with me due to push rescue lady.

Kat in the crate

The one thing I made clear was she had to get along with my elderly dog of the time so she made nice and they even shared my bed. My old dog was sweet and never chased cat though. She didn't put up with nothin' from any of the dogs since however. When we got Quasi my old dog started to play with him a wee bit. One day she got excite and tossed a paw over Kat and nipped her ear in play. Kat just looked at me for help.

When I brought an anteater home she took it in stride. When Pua first met her she reared up hissing "OMG a Jaguar!!" and Kat just sat there calmly.
What are you?

Until Jake came along

She still didn't put up with any of his shenanigans though
Mom, she said a bad word!

Goodbye sweet old Kat may you enjoy being weightless
No peaking at my weight
PS she chose her name. She refused to answer to anything but cat so we compromised on the spelling of KAT.
