Pua and clay

Caught sleeping together

Caught sleeping together Hyzzie is mortified. Pua wonders where the covers went.

Many suggested Pua learn to paint but she has no intrest in such things. So the idea was she may like something more hands on. We got clay. Nice potting clay. Good clay=dirt. You find clay in banks and river beds. So I was sure she would love the idea.

She did not. She totaly ignored her lump of clay over a few nights of trial. Last night Pua ran off and attacked the box of Clay in the other room. I got her her practice lump of clay and the fun ensued. I think maybe Stewie visited and gave her the art bug. Her techique needs some work though.

Unfortunately tearing a lump of clay apart, tossing the pieces around and rubbing yourself on them only counts as art if you're human.

Tamandua marking behavior

video Tamandua marking behavior

Pua rubs herself on the clay. It seemed to illicit her marking behavior. They rub on things they like as well as objects in their territory like along a log(or couch arm), claw the ground then rub on it, or when Stewie rubbed on the new tree and rope in the anteater play area.
