Aurora:
I kept poking my nose out of the washer and quietly asking for a snack.
Finally the human responded and peaked in on me, saw Pua was not with
me so brought me my cocktail. I let her pet me with no complaints both
before and when she brought my cocktail. Then she left and came back and
I still let her pet me. Then she turned on the camera to try and get a
video of me letting her pet me, so I started cringing at her touch. Cut
it out. I got a reputation to keep.
To go out, or stay in?

After mom bugged her Aurora went to sleep under the bed yesterday but she has the washer today.
I tried to raid the fridge last night and accidentally spilled tea all over myself. That was a cold bath.
Got up found some V8 on the counter drank my fill and have returned to the washer. I assume that was meant for me. It was left right in my path. But I left you some since you looked busy.
Climbed into bed with mom for awhile last night. Laid on her chest and had my head on her shoulder. Has a squirmy rear end as usual but then mom rubbed my rump at the base of the tail and it relaxed.
Also discovered something new. If I get tired of the shoulder mom's face makes a nice pillow.

Oh look! I found an egg!
Aurora and I were playing in the wee hours of the morning when we spilled some tea, still dried this time. This sent Aurora running for life back to the closet nest.
Currently I have taken refuge in the washer as Aurora paces around. I think she would like to go out but knows it's cold today. .. oh wait there she is. Time to snuggle down in the washer blanket with me.

Got up groomed, clawed a log, messed with my enrichment toy, took a vinegar bath, then bathed in the sink too, now playing with Aurora and the night's just begun.
Cheating

Someone seems to be lurking under the bed today and is a bit restless. Thump, thunk, thump.
Lots of noise as Aurora moved from side to side under the bed then finally came out and joined me in the closet. I think the sound of the washer running disturbed her. Beaker seemed a bit concerned by the commotion.
Feeling restless today back and forth between the closet and washer.
I heard mom in the kitchen this morning so was standing on the washer grabbing the curtain to try and get her attention when I fell off. Pretty embarrassing.
Had some snuggle time with mom when I got up. Then I joined her in bed for a bit. Mom had to keep Beaker away though. I don't really like him. He sticks his nose where it's not welcome.
Last night I crawled into bed and lay on mom's back this time, draped over her with head over shoulder like a baby on her momma anteater. Mom's back is flatter though and missing all the fur. It's not as comfy so I didn't stay that long.
Long ago when Stewie was here I used to sleep with mom all the time. Sometimes we'd both sleep with her draped across her back sideways in an equals sign.

I was hyper last night aside from the usual like trying to raid the fridge. I tried to get a drink from mom's water bottle but before I got the cap off all the way it came off the hook and went crashing down to the floor.
Jingle, jangle, jingle, KLANG. Mom can be hard to wake for treats but I'm trying to be polite and use the bell more.
Sometimes I wake her in person and get a treat then go ring the bell. I mean both are supposed to get me treats, right?
Aurora: Peeks out of the washer. Hey what's a lady got to do to get an afternoon cocktail.
Pua emerges from the closet: If she's having a cocktail I need a snack too.

Also this photo makes her look tiny due to the perspective, especially if you happen to know the box size in real life. She is the biggest female tamandua I've known.

Aurora peaked out of the washer early so got her cocktail but she chugged it then headed for the closet and asked for more. After her seconds she settled in with me and mom hosed out the washer. Why can't humans just appreciate the nice aroma of a musty washer?

Mom fell asleep without barricading the fridge so I decided to show Aurora how to raid the fridge.
Mom came and put a stop to it but we'd already had a lot of fun with ants, and soup food, and buttermilk and stuff all over. Silly Aurora came running later when mom opened the fridge and tried to get in again. That's not how it's done. I think you missed the first part of the lesson ~ Pua

Been busy. I ran around all night. Pua lead me on fridge raid. That was
fun. Food, buttermilk and ants everywhere! Then the human came and
after taking photos pulled us out of the fridge. Humans are confusing and no fun. I don't know what Pua sees in them.

Her harness had popped loose so had her in the car to put it back on. I opened the door but she looked out then decided to explore the car first.

ordered a ton of of Alibaba to sell them at these prices. They are very

Then I ran around more tossing books and falling off the shelf myself
several times. The human later opened the fridge to get me more soup so I
came running over to climb back in. She laughed at me and pulled me out
and said that's not how it's done. I thought it was the human's job to
open doors for me. Again confusing.
After much more partying I had a nap then have been running around for hours today. All around the yard and house so the human stuck me in harness and crate and we went to the fish hatchery.
We started on the trail but I jumped off the little foot bridge forcing the human to follow me and crawl under it. Then I popped out of the harness so was tossed back in the crate.
The human took me back to the car and put the harness back on me and we tried again around the fish hatchery it's self instead. I kept popping my harness(the catch is bad is seems) but this time she just put it back on in the field. The human says we need a new one. I don't think I need one at all.
The caretaker came to take photos of me and mom explained I'm a rescue and not used to a harness, unlike Pua who they are used to seeing(The longer version untold was how until now she didn't feel I was healthy enough to handle it also).
He left and I ran around a bit more then pulled the harness off over my head. This time the human put me in the crate to head home, citing exhaustion as a reason.
I've been running around at home ever sense. The humans says she'll get a better harness and we may try again. We know Pua's style doesn't work either though, think we need this type just with a strong clasp.
