When it's too warm for the rug but too cool for the bare floor.
So
yesterday I started out in the closet but was up when mom left and
Aurora was in the washer. When she came back there was a mess from stuff
being knocked off the top of the fridge in a failed raid attempt and I
had the washer and Aurora the closet.
Mom was tired last night and the store has no beef heart yet so mom put out some plain beef. I think that is a yummy treat so didn't bug her for treats last night and let her sleep. I am in the washer again since it was close to the beef. Aurora is in the closet again.
Sometimes I think she doesn't like sharing with me so sleeps wherever I'm not.

Was
just discussing age and tamanduas with someone. It's hard to tell with
adults but they tend to start out dark and lighten up. Here's Aurora
when we got her. I initially guessed her to be two and that's probably
about right, despite my questioning for awhile when she looked "old" due
to her issues, since she had had a baby before coming here. And then
this was her last summer in second link.

Aurora
shared the closet nest with me today to make up for my not being able
to find her last night due to her sleeping in the toy box.

Slept
in the washer night before last so mom made good on a threat and power
washed the closet. I found the wet wood scent of the shelves interesting
till I realized they weren't buggy. I peed on my fresh blanket and
played with Aurora.
Aurora's soup bowl was moved to my dinning area. Mom knew she was capable of the change since she will eat my food when she's desperate like the other night when the bowl broke and spilled again. She sniffed her bowl, ate some of my food then later ate some soup too. I know she'd rather be eating up high though.
I had to sleep in the washer again today because the closet blanket was wet, so mom painted today but she says some of it will need a second coat.

Aurora was less pleased last night to find her food being in my dinning area was not a one time fluke. She argued about it with mom hanging out on the closet veranda shelf, formerly the soup shelf.

Aurora waited till she was sure mom was passed out before eating anything and turning in.
I'm still sleeping with Aurora in the washer. The closet smells to clean and it's been kind of chilly in the evenings.

moved to the closet nest after it warmed up yesterday. Had some evening
play and cuddle time with mom. Aurora is still trying to ask for her
soup on the shelf. Mom did let her have her cocktail up there on a place
mat.

Aurora:
You know, now that I am forced to come down for my food and the bowl
and Pua food are side by side, I think I like the solid "Pua Food"
better after all.

Mom came to the closet nest and I thought she was just going to give me ants and do my nails again but no I had to make an appearance and do a meet and greet. Wish humans would be more nocturnal.
Mom said she tried Aurora first but Aurora did a fine impression of an octopus in a bottle and wasn't coming out of that washer.
