Pua's mate fund update and photos

So recently we let you all know we could use some help getting the funds together to get Pua a mate after we had some set backs and some of you were generous enough to send some funds our way.

Someone suggested I make Pua's mate a cause on Facebook. Well I set it up though since not a nonprofit couldn't make myself a recipient so added a link to our Gimme Account. I had also updated the needed amount to show we only needed $800 more and a fellow from Facebook donated the whole $800! I'm floored and grateful and all excited a giddy though have calmed down some since first notifying people by email. You can see the public detonators on gimme details for our cause But Paypal and a snail mail donation would be private unless I ask their permission to post them, Gimme already made their donors public.

I'm very greatful to all of you even those that would have liked to send funds but didn't or just sent good energies our way.

So the natural next question is when Pua gets her new mate. The getting the money is the first hurdle but getting one isn't all that easy either. Most are available June and or July and one reason I tried so hard to have the money by this summer. I called already but they are in Florida so wont hear back till tomarrow if they have a male or how long it will take him to get a male if he doesn't. Hopefuly we wont need to wait to long but we will keep an ear open for any that may be needing rehomed if it does take him awhile.

On a related note I've been wanting to talk about but not wanting to seem to whiny is that Pua has had some emotional issues this summer. She stopped going outside the end of may then stoped going out of my room in June and started having some major fear issues. One telling one was getting very concerned about the dogs when they snored. But a couple of times she had actual panic attacks. And otherwise moping about a lot. Her fear made her world shrink to just her washer and drier as she was afraid to come down. First panic attack I had a remedy for fear I had got some time back by accident and gave that to her till we could get help and that helped her quit a bit but didn't last.

We worked with a holistic practitioner since she was eating well and otherwise seemed healthy. The result was to give her a remedy for grief. Greif left over from losing Stewie and or grief at being alone and in her mind the only anteater left. We had amazing results. She started leaving my room again and going outside again and playing all over and going wild again. It's been great she was scared to move before and now is climbing on me and hanging from things again.

I know many poo poo holistic remedies due to "lack of scientific proof" but we have had great results on a few issues using the rememdies under guidence. So I wanted to share how good they can be. Especialy when you arte dealing with something the vets really can't help and will be scratching their heads over.

Of course the remedy doesn't mean she'll never have issues from grief again but helps her deal and heal from it. Getting her mate should prevent grief issues again.

Such worrisome creatures at times and soon we will have double :)

Now that I've writen a book time for some examples of her being more active and happy.

Disturbing Pua in the washer just because she was so cute like that.

Note: yeah it's dirty under the lid but it gets washed once a week on laundry day and the outside daily clean up. She's either sleeping in there or I'm keeping an eye on her otherwise.

Almost forgot I had made this video too so her YT friends would know and to show what it's like having too. Kind of a tribute to Pua&Stewie at the same time
